JL Industries Introduces the Acoustical STC-65 for Sound-Rated Walls and Ceilings to help you Meet Noise Containment and Sound Transmission Blocking Requirements.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Construction: Cold rolled steel.
Finish: White powder coat paint.
Gasketing: EPDM foam seal on frame.
Insulation: Mineral wool.
Latch: Black locking compression paddle latch.
Sizes: Minimum 8" x 8", Maximum: 36” x 36”.
Custom sizes: Available in door sizes in 1/4" increments
OPTIONS:
Optional Material: 304 stainless steel with #4 finish, galvannealed steel.
Optional Latches: Black non-locking compression paddle, chrome finish lockable compression paddle.
Additional Options: Other powder coat colors.
PERFORMANCE:
Independently lab-tested to STC 65 and OITC 51 according to: ASTM E90 "Sound Transmission Loss of Building Partitions".
Classified in accordance with: ASTM E413 "Classification for Rating Sound Insulation of Partitions or Floors" and ASTM E1332 "Standard Classification for Rating Outdoor-Indoor Sound Attenuation".
